The journey of rubber, from its humble natural origins to a sophisticated industrial material, grants it versatility but also renders it a disposal challenge. As abandoned tyres accumulate in landfills, the "elastolithic" bench embodies the gravity of this issue, serving as a reminder to rethink our relationship with materials we extract and develop.
