NANDI SEAT
Steel, Danish Paper cord
Nandi seat reflects on the evolving relationship between humans and animals, inspired by the quiet presence of grazing cattle. In India, cattle have historically held practical and spiritual significance, while modern practices often reduce animals to commodities. The work navigates this tension—between reverence and utility, connection and control—inviting reflection on how we acknowledge animals, their histories, and the cultural meanings we assign to them, beyond mere use or function
