ODANATA
Teak wood, Aluminum frame
The Odonata Table draws from early encounters with entomology, translating close observation of insect life into a sculptural furniture object. Part of the Hover collection, the piece reflects on curiosity, precision, and the quiet fascination of studying small, complex forms.
Its structure is informed by the poised stance of a dragonfly. A light, agile metal framework defines the body, while teak wood surfaces echo the layered grain and delicacy of insect wings. These wing-like elements function as detachable trays, extending the table’s role from sculptural object to functional surface for serving.
